What Am I?

I am yellow on the inside 
I am rough on the outside
I am sweet and smooth on the inside
I can be cut into circles or into squares
and tiny bite pieces
I am sometimes sour
SpongeBob lives inside me lol!
This probably gave it away!

“He Died”

He died, I lied. 
I cried, made it over the tide, don't slide, glide.
Be down for the ride and if you aren't move to the side,
for the straight and narrow certainly isn't wide.
You can't say that you tried, if you don't try.
Why lie, if the truth is within,
men and women, of every kind. 
Don't be blind or rewind in time,
to a place that hurts,
what's the worst?
Staying on my grind, keeping joy with what I find.
Don't worry about what's on my mind.

I come in different colors
I am round in shape
I am sweet
Some people love me some don't
I grow on vines
I need lots of sunlight

I am shaped almost like a heart
I have small seeds you can eat
I am sometimes juicy or bittersweet
I taste best when ripe 
I am seasonal
I grow in the U.S. California, Florida and Canada
I grow in beds or rows
I am a great source of vitamin C
I love growing in warm temperatures

In His Face

I see an aged man but not too old
grey and white in his hair and mustache
I see worry yet hopeful
I see anguish and tiredness
I see a hardworking man
His eyes are Hazel, honey brown
His thick eyebrows are distinguished 
He perhaps lost his love.
I see definition
I see he is lost, deep in his thoughts
I see he is perhaps a grandpa
I see kindness in his cheeks
I see strength and resilience
