Deep

I was shallow and God took me
into the deep, deep blue sea
but he didn't let me drown.

Rooted
I am deeply rooted in 
The Lord and his word!
His love
and his light!

Waves

Back & forth
I ride the Lords waves
like I do my emotions 
and sometimes back and forth
I wave goodbye 
to the old
and wave hello
to the new, 
and improved me and you!

Why so gloom?
Why so sad?
Like the clouds in the sky.

What Am I giving to God?
What am I willing to give to God

What does it mean to submit? Obedience by listening to Gods word and doing as it says in The Bible. Applying what you read in God’s word to your everyday life, in the things you say and do, how you carry yourself and how you represent the word of God. Present yourselves in the presence of Christ a person who always wants to understand what it is God wants you to know and learn and do and say, in order to better his kingdom and be beneficial to his kingdom. If you are unsure, pray and ask God to help you learn, understand and know what it is he wants you to learn and know for the day. He will guide you; you just have to be willing to listen and obey what he says to do or say.

“God is Familiar!”

in the moonlight.

When you see a face, you know you are or may be familiar with that person and who they are, who they portray or characterize themselves to be.

Familiarize yourself with God and his word. Familiarize yourself with his love. Familiarize yourself with his grace and mercy. Familiarize yourself with his forgiveness. Familiarize yourself with his knowledge. Familiarize yourself with his understanding. Familiarize yourself with his joy!

“My Light” or “The Sun”

Wakes me up every morning
Soon as I open the blinds
I'm blinded
Soon as I walk outside, I'm warm
The heat beating against my skin 
I feel comfort
I feel gratitude 
I feel humbled
I feel blessed
I feel in awe
As I try to stare directly into the sun
I quickly look away, it's blinding
If I tried to get close enough, I'd burn!
Right where I'm at is sufficient enough for me! So be it!
Seeing this bright light brings me great joy!
When I feel lost and in the dark
I look up to my light
My "Light" (My God) is useful
My "Light" is loving and warm and gentle.
